Kane Invitational Information | Valentine Invitational Information

There are only two remaining events that stand between Syracuse track field and the BIG EAST Championships. This weekend, the Orange will compete at the BU Valentine Invitational in Boston, Mass. as well as the Kane Invitational in Ithaca, N.Y. Syracuse returns to the track after an impressive list of results at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational and Hamilton College Invitational last weekend.

Cornell hosts the Kane Invitational at Barton Hall, where the Orange has already competed twice this season. The meet will feature almost 30 schools and include a variety of relays, open distance and sprint events. Friday kicks off with an evening of heptathlon and pentathlon events followed by Saturday’s 9:30 a.m. start with the women’s 5000m races. Events will continue throughout the day, concluding with the 4×400 men’s relay finals at 6:35 p.m.

Friday afternoon will take the Orange into Terrier territory for the second time this season as Boston University opens the Valentine Invitational with the women’s 400m race at 3 p.m. Saturday races begin at 10:30 a.m. with the women’s distance medley and warp up with the men’s 5,000m race at 7:45 that evening.
