Both the Syracuse University men’s and women’s basketball teams will be featured on this week’s episode of Inside the BIG EAST, a television show hosted by John Heffernan.

Inside the BIG EAST

will be televised in the Syracuse area on February 3, at 2:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. on SNY-TV. Time Warner Cable Sports will air the show on February 4 at 11 a.m. and on February 5 at 9:00 a.m. 

The Syracuse men’s basketball squad is currently 22-1 overall and 9-1 in the conference. The Orange are ranked second in both national polls. SU plays at St. John’s on Saturday, February 4, at 1:00 p.m.

The program will also feature Iasia Hemmingway and Kayla Alexander of the women’s basketball team. Hemmingway leads the club and is fifth in the Big East in scoring at 16.0 points per game. She is coming off a 24-point outing in a win against Providence on Tuesday. Alexander, a Preseason All-Big East Team selection, leads the conference in blocks per game at 2.6. The women’s basketball team is 14-9 and plays next against USF on Saturday, February 4, at 1:00 p.m. at the Carrier Dome.
